The 190SL was powered by Mercedes-Benz's 1,897-cc SOHC inline four-cylinder engine. The carbureted engine had a compression ratio of 8.8:1 and was rated by the manufacturer at 120 horsepower. The seller believes the engine in this 190SL is original to the car, stating further that its Solex carburetors are also factory original.
